About us
Vessel Design Realised is a family-run business under the direction of Adam Wright and Stine Østheim, established 15 years ago.
First projects for the business included the design and building of 4 purpose-built vessels for specialist use in the North Sea carbon-neutral energy sector. These workboats have been in service since then and we continue working with their owners developing the new generation of Electric CTVs. Other projects vary from whole vessel design to complex or simple modifications.
Tools of the trade include Rhino and SolidWorks CAD and Maxsurf Naval Architecture Software to name a few.
Adam Wright
Like his forebears, Adam has spent his life working in maritime industries and has specified, procured and skippered several vessels throughout his varied career. He has many notable achievements, more recently in the field of electric propulsion in sea-working vessels.
Stine Østheim
Stine is Adam’s fiancée and partner of more than 10 years, and together they have two daughters. Originally from Mandal in southern Norway, Stine grew up with the sea as a big part of everyday life, spending summers at her family cabin, boating and fishing for pleasure.
Mandal has a proud maritime heritage and strong links to the Norwegian Skjold-class SES vessels, giving Stine a natural connection to the marine world from an early age.
Today, Stine supports the business by looking after the accounts and helping behind the scenes. As both Adam’s partner in life and part of the wider family business, she brings a calm, organised and dependable presence to the team.
